Professional Transportation, Inc. (PTI) was founded in 1980 and began its operations, serving as a crew transportation service for Class I railroads in the Midwest. PTI has provided safe, dependable, and on-time performance for over-the-road and dedicated yard van services to the biggest companies in the railroad industry such as CSXT, Kansas City Southern, Norfolk Southern, Union Pacific, Amtrak, BNSF Railway, Canadian Pacific Railroad, Utah Railway, Portland and Western Railroad.
PTI’s was founded on a focus of safety, dependability, and on time performance. Those same three fundamentals continue to be steadfast for PTI for almost 40 years.
The PTI consists of over 5,000 dedicated drivers, dispatchers, and support personnel. We are proud of the work our employees do every day in the 36 states we have field locations at and those who work in our Field Support Center headquartered in Evansville, IN.
